Mark Sumpter is a gentleman who has been labelled the "Short Sale Expert" and is a highly sought after speaker on how to purchase and sell pre-foreclosure real estate and coaching his wealth building methods at a wide array of real estate investor events which produces an interactive learning situation for both experienced real estate pros and first time investors.

Mark Sumpter was given birth to and raised in L.A., California. He went to Central Missouri State University, where he obtained a degree in Criminal Justice and went on to become a police officer for the Missouri Police Department (Kansas City).

Whilst Mark loved being a police officer, the lengthy hours coupled with his assignments made it difficult for him to live the style nor quality of life he sought for both himself and his family. Mark remembers taking part in a dangerous police car chase and it brought home to him just how perilous the life of an officer can be.

He ran into an old pal, also a former officer of the law who grew to become a full-time real estate investor. It was through his friends guidance, he finally made the choice which would change his life forever. He began to invest part-time and in his initial year Mark made over $496,000 in pre-foreclosures using none of his own wealth.

It was after his first child was born that he decided to take a break from his career. He helped his wife to take care of their child and continued to invest in real estate. After a month he realized that he was spending plenty of time with his friends and family, whilst making a great income by way of real estate investing. He decided to part company with the police force and make investing in real estate his next career move.

He structured time to work with a "power team" and created a 2 year and 5 year plan to accomplish his investment targets. The day after Mark turned 32, he had three closings and was rewarded with just over $200,000 in profit. He remembers saying to his partner that they would never have to worry about money again. He instantly went and called all of his creditors and paid off his debts.

Since then, Mark Sumpter has founded The Wealth College Inc, and has put together a complete, systematic method for buying and selling pre-foreclosures. At one point, Mark Sumpter and his associate were concurrently handling eighty-eight different short sales deals. The only feasible way has been using his "Secrets of Short Sales" system that he has been perfecting over the years.

Mark is convinced that in order to thrive in the real estate market you have to get out of your comfort zone and overcome the fear of the unfamiliar. His mentor and old friend, the late Ernie Kessler conveyed to him the importance on educating ones-self in the most up to date techniques and go to attend seminars as much as possible.

A favored saying of Marks is Fail, Forward, Fast. This means to Mark that there is no 100% perfect deal, get out there and take action! If you make miscalculation you can still learn an important lesson and get over your hatred of the unknown.

Mark enjoys teaching people what he has learned and furthermore continues to learn. He benefits from schooling his students on his techniques to impact their lives and reach their objectives.
